What is Thermal Runaway?
Many of the important devices in our day-to-day lives are powered by small and mighty lithium-ion batteries. When batteries create electricity, they also create heat as a byproduct. This heat can result in a phenomenon called thermal runaway – often a fire or even an explosion.
