Combination Products

Combination Products

A drug product is a finished dosage form (e.g., tablet, capsule, or solution) that contains an active drug molecule and any required inactive ingredients (excipients). A drug delivery device can be used to help patients correctly use a drug product. A drug product that is sold together with its drug delivery device is called a combination product. This interactive will explore different types of combination products for injectable medications, including prefilled syringes, autoinjectors, and on-body injection devices.
