Inclusive Teaching Activity: Concept Mapping

Concept mapping is a valuable teaching activity for a number of reasons. Students can use concept maps to scaffold their understanding of content, while developing and applying models in alignment with the NGSS Science and Engineering Practices. When used intentionally, concept mapping can also promote inclusivity in STEM classrooms.
