Inclusive Classroom Arrangement: Equitable Seating

In an inclusive classroom, an educator uses multiple strategies to create an environment in which all students, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities, receive equitable education. One strategy involves intentionally arranging the physical classroom space to ensure that all students have the opportunity to learn effectively. This case study invites educators to reflect on their current classroom seating plans and presents strategies that they can use to ensure that their seating arrangements are equitable and inclusive.
