This teaching guide provides educators with resources to help students explore the impact of human activity on community health. Through ecosystem mapping, students will explore how human activity—like infrastructure and pollution—can affect populations within an ecosystem. They will then examine health equity interventions, and design their own to address a health inequity in their local community.
