What Happened at Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry?
Hello, Research Assistants! I’ve got a real mystery for you today! Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry is the location of a prehistoric mass grave from millions of years ago. Scientists have been studying this site for decades, trying to figure out what led to these animals’ death in order to learn more about how they lived. Students will examine an interactive quarry map of Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry, use scientific field notes (primary source material), and consider modern analogs to figure out what happened at this mass death site millions of years ago.
